Change Password and Email Address

Click on More... option from the toolbar, select Edit Your Profile, you can make changes to various personal information such as password, email adress there.

Chinese Font

Display  Size

Our discussion forum supports automatic Chinese character display in IE.   If you are using IE, you need to turn off Auto-Select function from the character Encode function.  You can do this by right mouse button click, choose Encode, then uncheck Auto-Select there, and refresh your page..  If you are using Netscape browser, you can download NJStar Communicator 2.2 or other Chinese viewers to read Chinese posts.

To change the Display Font size, you can use View/Text Size from IE, or View/Increase Font from Netscape to adjust the display font size within your own browser.

Displaying New Messages New Messages Link: Message Board List 
At the top of the message board list are three links: All Messages, New, and Attn. Clicking these links switches between the full message board list, a list of message boards with new messages, and a list of message boards with messages posted to your attention. When you click New, the list of boards with new messages appears over a changed background that indicates these are new messages. To see the new messages, expand any messages boards listed. An exclamation point to the right of the message indicates that it was posted to your attention. To read a message, click its name and it appears in the message window.

Tip:
To read a message in context, click Entire Topic in the message menu and then scroll through the topic and all response messages. 
Displaying Today's Messages Clicking the Today? Messages link on the More Options menu gives you a quick listing of all messages posted that day. When you click this link, the Today? Messages list shows messages by the message board, subject, and time posted, with the oldest listed first in each message board. Each subject is a link to the actual message, which appears in the message window when you click it. 
Marking Messages as Read You have a choice of letting WebBoard automatically mark messages as read or marking them yourself.   To mark messages as read manually, follow these steps: 

Click More on the menubar to open the More Options menu. 
Click Mark All Read on the More Options menu. WebBoard immediately marks all messages as read and refreshes the message boards list.

To have WebBoard mark messages automatically, follow these steps: 

Click More on the menubar and then click Edit Your Profile on the More Options menu. 

On your User Profile, scroll down to the Automatically mark messages as read checkbox and check it. Click Save to save changes. 

All messages will be marked as read the next time you click Logoff on the menubar or are inactive on the board for 30 minutes.

To Page
Other Users 

To send and reply to pages, follow these steps: 

Click Page on the menubar or Current Users from the More Options menu. The list of current users for the board appears. Users who are accepting pages have a bell icon to the left of their names. 

Click the bell icon of the user you want to page. The Page User form appears, in which you type your message. Users who do not have a bell icon have disabled paging. 

Type in your message. A page can be up to 150 characters long (about 10 to 15 words).  Click Send when you are finished entering the message. WebBoard sends the page to the user. 

Other Functions

Again, you can page, search other users, join a mail list, mark new/read messages from More... option on the toolbar.

 

 

Questions & Answers:
1. What should I do if  I didn't receive my password via eMail after I signed up ?
You may entered wrong email address when you sign up and your password notice was returned to us.  In this case, please send an email to webmaster@huarentrader.com and include your First, Last name, Login ID that you used to register..  We will look up your record from our database and forward the original notification to you.  You can then modify your email address yourself after login.
2. How can I send a message another online user inside the Discussion Forum ?
You can click on the Page button from tool bar. A list of all current online user will display on the right panel.  You can locate the right person, click on the little bell next to him/her name, you can enter your information  in the pop up box then click on send to your message.

For realtime chat, you can simply go to our conference room to chat .
